Lumchyrmit is located 10 Kms from Cham Cham Village and is a relatively new tourist spot. It is unexplored and is perfect for adventure tourism as well as for trekking and other physical activities. Latang Falls in Lumchyrmit is a magnificent and towering falls that originates from the Myntdu River. It crosses a gorge and falls down into a valley with such a force that reveals the natural beauty of the surroundings. The upstream of the river are filled with rapids and currents flowing through rocks and natural formations that are a treat for the tourist.

By any 2 or 4 Wheeler Vehicle upto the tourist spots. Hired vehicles(Taxis) are available from Jowai or Khliehriat.Tourist arriving from Shillong are to proceed from Jowai Bypass and continue along the NH-6 Highway upto Kongong Junction(Lat -25.41682 Long – 92.28740 ) and take a right to the Mukhaialong – Cham Cham PWD road. Distance of 15 Kms approx from Kongong Junction.
