Sahksaw - Cham Cham Village
DirectionThe scenic and picturesque tranquil fish sanctuary Sahksaw is located at Cham Cham village at a distance of 700 metres from the PWD road. Downstream, it is connected to the Rynji Falls and upstream it meets the Myntdu River. It is one of the best destinations for boating activities in East Jaintia Hills as the river meanders slowly and is wide along its breadth. Sahksaw is surrounded on both sides by lofty hills and catchment areas providing fresh water to the river and an abundance of fish.

By Road
By any 2 or 4 Wheeler Vehicle upto the tourist spots. Hired vehicles(Taxis) are available from Jowai or Khliehriat.Tourist arriving from Shillong are to proceed from Jowai Bypass and continue along the NH-6 Highway upto Kongong Junction(Lat -25.41682 Long – 92.28740 ) and take a right to the Mukhaialong – Cham Cham PWD road. Distance of 15 Kms approx from Kongong Junction.
